Don’t look for a cat in the picture there isn’t one. This picture has nothing to do with title of today’s entry, it’s just one of the many pictures of unusual homes I have taken lately.
I just started looking at the pedometer app on my phone. I had guessed I was walking about ten miles a day and I was correct. Yesterday I walked 13.2 miles, some days I walk 7 or 8.
Now about that cat in a tree… I was walking in beautiful Ladds Addition yesterday morning as all the kids were walking to school. A woman came out of her house with her two small children and I heard them laughing at something. I looked over and saw them gathered around a very small, maybe three foot high tree, very thin and spindly with branches that formed a kind of canopy on top. There was a huge fat, fluffy orange cat on the very top sort of surfing. There tree was moving around and the cat’s feet were moving with the branches in different directions. The cat must have just jumped up there because I’m sure it would not have been possible for it to climb up there.
I am going to spend some time today finding out if there is a way I can participate in First Friday. I have been told conflicting locations for it, maybe there is more than one?
